Building the dream home |
Ten years ago, one couple from Stockport decided that this was going to be their dream family home. To most people, this run down old building would be nothing more than a lost cause. To Jim and Kath Isaacs however, it was a blank canvas on which to put all the ideas they had collected from over 20 years in the building trade.

A labour of love |
When loft conversion specialist Jim Isaacs decided to use his experience and skills on his own home, he did so in style.
As the Managing Director of Access Loft in Stockport, it was as Jim explains, a true labour of love. “Most existing homes have a potential way beyond what the majority of people imagine and mine was no different. I couldn’t wait to start.” |

The house that Sue built |
This is the house that Sue McColl built.
Or perhaps more accurately, it’s the already attractive detached home in Stockport she’s improved upon.
